I agree with the thread you posted. Flexi leashes are an accident waiting to happen. You can not control any breed of dog on those. Even though I can walk with Peanut on loose leash I still keep him on a short leash just because when I walk him I don't want him to walk into people we don't know or go up to a strange dog to sniff him not knowing if that dog is friendly or knock someone over OR if you are walking a dog on one of those leashes what is to keep it from running into the street and into a car? IMO they are very dangerous
