Speaking from experience, that's not a good leash for a pit bull. Loki suddenly lunged and ours snapped into and the plastic end sprung back and hit me in the arm. Luckily it didn't hit me in the eye cause it sure left a huge bruise on my arm. Then I had to catch Loki and get him back in the house. They're a great concept but not strong enough.
