If I have a shot at getting the ball anywhere around the green and there isn't any trouble (out of bounds, water, etc.) I'm going for it. In my case, I feel that if I can get the ball around the green or on the green, I have a better shot at holing it for an eagle or making a birdie, than I do from 75+ yards out.
