You can do this with Golfshot. Pick whichever course, just like you are going to play. Go to the first hole, again just like normal, then press the track button (the golf ball on the upper left of the screen). It will start tracking he shot. Pace off until you are at your ball and you have your distance. The app doesn't care that the first hole might be 2 miles away, all it know is how far it was from Point A (your hitting area) to Point B (where your ball is). It works great, I do it all the time and the really cool thing is now you can save those distances under the club you used to hit it and get a really good average for each club in your bag.
