After going to the range a few times with my 18 and 15 year old sons and seeing that they can hit the ball pretty straight and just as far as me, I decided to take them out to the 9 hole course Sunday morning. Well 7am rolls around and the 15 yr old is up and dressed already while the 18 yr old must have been up late, he decided he didn't want to get up that early. So me and the youngest take off to the course.
A little trash talk from him on the drive there turns into $1 a hole (my idea). What a great couple hrs it was! Surprisingly I was able to handle the frustration of watching your golf parnter shoot a 10 on hole #1. I was thinking "This is going to be a longg 9 holes". But he actualy starting hitting ok, ended with a 60 on his first ever 9 holes. He even beat me on 2 holes, so he only owes me $7.
Most memorrable thing he said all day "This is a lot harder than I thought it would be dad". That's an understatment son, now give me my $7.

Next up will be getting them both out there.
