If the ball plugs on a soft green, I believe I'm correct in saying you can mark the ball, repair the mark and replace the ball. I know it is a somewhat hypothetical question as it is unlikely to ever happen, but what happens if the ball has plugged on a part of the green steep enough that the ball can't be placed there without rolling away?
