I have the rain gear, the towels, the rain hood, umbrella, all of that.

What I don't have is a way to keep the rain off my glasses. And for those of us that have to wear prescription lenses, rain sucks. I've tried a lot of different hats, whatever, but nothing seems to work. Not being able to see definitely cuts into the enjoyment factor.

That is why I listed a big hat as part of my rain equipment...to keep the glasses dry as possible. Here is a photo of the hat, on a sunny day but I wore it in the rain three days this week and it worked very well:
