Default Watching the strokes dissapear
I just wanted to give my opinion on how to improve your game and decrease those scores. At least this is what worked for me. So here it is... Get clubs that fit!
I had been playing for 6 years or so with a set of Golden Bear clubs. A cheap complete set purchased at a local sporting goods store. My scores were ALWAYs in the high 90's to 108. This year, armed with advice of THPers and the local Pro at Golf Galaxy, I decided to get fitted for clubs thinking it would help my game. Well, since I got the new clubs, I have shot 91, 86, 87, and 88. Thats on average 10 strokes less than I shot before. I am convinced it is because of having clubs that fit me now. Being that I'm 6' a 1/2" was added to the shafts, an extra 2* adjustment to the lie, and having moster hands, jumbo grips with 2 wraps. Now every swing (when I don't try to crush it) feels great. The clubs sweep across the grass at the same level everytime. No more bending way over, widening my stance, or bending the knees too much. I no longer feel like I am going to toss the club because of the bigger grips.

If you have never been fitted for clubs, I highly recommend doing it. 10 strokes, that I never want to see again have been lost in my game because of it.
