I think Tiger's play this year is completely dictated by the golf course. From what I've seen, if he doesn't have to rely on the driver, he's in contention. Every tournament where's he's had to hit it more than once or twice per round, he's struggled.

Agreed. He is so good hitting his mid to long irons, you would think he would be even more selective about using the driver (like he was in yesterday's round).
