It took me a while before I finally gave in and got a few lessons. I had been playing golf for about 10 - 12 years before I took my first one and I'm still glad I took them. The guy I go to is a pro at the course I used to be a member at. Every time I go to him, I usually see positive changes right away, but even when I don't, I feel more comfortable with what he's trying to get me to do over what I've been doing all along. If I keep working at what he wants me to do, it will eventually come around and I'll be better at that part of the game than I was before. The course I'm at now has all the technology (trackman, video recorders, etc.) but I'd still rather go to him and he doesn't use anything except his eyes. It is by far the best decision I've made in my golf game.
