I think it depends on how different your new clubs are compared to your old clubs. For example, if you're moving from one type of club to another (game improvement to players irons, etc). Also, different iron sets can have different lofts. If you say it looks funny at address and feels strange in your hands, then I would say hit as many balls as you can. I've always felt that if something doesn't look right at address, makes it much harder to hit effectively and takes longer to get used to.
