We just don't play where I live in the winter at all. I have never heard of "lugging" a plastic mat around the course?

It's a Euro thing, I believe. Nothing I've ever seen around here.

Paulo, have you seen those felt putting mats? Could you buy one and just cut a chunk off of it?
