That is awesome Sean! I would not kick yourself aboot the short course A 71 is a 71. I like what you said about using the big muscles instead of your arms. That had to feel strange at first.
Pfft, it's legit! The ball found the hole, didn't it? I call it legit. Congrats man. It's a tough game to master and it sounds like you're on your way.
Unless a course in 4500 yards to 5000 in understand about it being a little short, but you have to remember golf is not a easy sport on a good day or a bad day,to shot 1 over is not easy for anybody, especially when you play of higher handicap because the first thing is actually pressure of playing the 18 to play around even par,you would have started thinking about your score and that is why your 1 over score is so much better, yes hitting balls 6 days a week will only improve your game. You have put hard work in and you will probably see the results. Well done with the score. I'm sure soon you will shot under par.
Nice job Sean, ya I'd call it legit as well. Hope the snow stay's away!
congrats on the 71, its legit...if u feel that bad, you give me ur 71 and I'll give you the 94 I shot last time out!
Nice job, 71 is still legit. You have to have a good short game to shoot 1 over. The cup was not enlarged for winter rules. My coach has me working on the same thing. Less arms more legs. It's amazing how effortless the swing is and how far the ball goes using the big muscles.
Don't short change yourself. If it was cold out, then that could have an effect on ball flight (not going as far). A 71 is very good regardless of winter. Looks like you're on your way to lowering that 10 handicap!
