for me what i want to work on for next season is
1:short game.this to me is the most important part of the game because this is where shots are made or lost,i don't have to worry much about my long game and i find myself shooting my best scores when i'm getting up and down from the most impossible of places.
2:the mental side of the game, many times i have found myself scoring really well with say 6 holes to go before blowing it,i need to work on not thinking about my score and concentrating more on the task in hand and trying to play each shot as they come.
3:judging my iron shots better,i want to be a better distance player and be pin high more often.instead of playing the full shot and hitting the club i would need to hit absolutely spot on to make it there i want to play 1 club less and play a slightly easier shot.i tried this more towards the end of the season and it has worked a treat so next i want to employ this tactic more often if not all the time.it works well for me when i have a full wedge in but instead i'll take a slightly easier 9iron and the same goes for a full s wedge....i'll play a knock down p wedge and it works really well.
