I didn't have the lofts physically checked, I bought the irons new so I can't imagine they are very far off but who knows.

These are rough estimates, The only clubs I have actually measured recently is my 8. I don't find myself stuck on what club to use except in this situation. If I hit the ball well I tend to end up within 10 yards of where I expected, unless its my 9/8 iron.

3:180-230 (hence the reason it pretty much has a permanent home in my bag, I love it for knock down shots, but thats about it. I am incredibly inconsistent with it on full swings)

Usually when I walk up to the ball I'm pretty sure I have the right club in my hand. At this point in that 145 range I just have to take some off my 8i, its just confusing to me why I'm seeing that big of a gap. My only guess is when I reworked my swing, I used my 8 iron almost exclusively until I was hitting it consistently, then transitioned to the rest of my clubs. I still use the same swing for the rest of my clubs, but maybe all that extra practice has payed off.
