Carolina National is a favorite of mine and we usually make a point of playing there on the way home from Myrtle Beach, it's 27 holes as well if you want to make a day of it. Fun layout that is challenging but won't beat you up playing it. Another suggestion that is kind of close to there is the Arnold Palmer designed Rivers Edge, amazing layout, but a pretty tough track. A little further South is Thistle Golf Club, another 27 hole course that is a links style course that can be a challenge if the wind is up, but an amazing course.
