Just got back from the trip. The Grande Oaks course is a private club, but overall, it is a decent track. The biggest surprise: there is very little association with the movie! The old clubhouse has since been replaced by a really nice clubhouse. Many of the holes have been redesigned. The course has a few "Gimmick" holes as well. The ninth fairways (yes, there are two around both sides of the lake) both go around to a single green. Left is pretty wide open with a few traps, right is narrow, but with no trouble except a few grassy mounds. 18 was really gimmicky. You have 2 greens (both with flags). One is a forced carry over water (and makes a better golf hole), the other is just straight away. Thankfully, the rest of the course was pretty decent. Very easy layout. Just wish I was playing my own ball vs a scramble.

I did take a few pictures that I will try to post later.
