They should imprint the loft on their irons and let them call them whatever they want!

But there are other variables besides the loft (shafts).

There's too many companies to be able to tell them what loft a 5-iron should be. But they should be required to make it easy to find out the lofts. Some manufacturers lofts are hard to find.
