Its probably cause you were thinking about to much of making the perfect swing instead of just going up there and unloading on it lol
I figured out something the other day and that is ball position! I kept hitting duck hook after dook hook with the driver then realized i had the ball to far back in my stance and moved it up some and made the same swing and bam straight after straight shots. Andy the pro told me you move the ball back for more draw and forward for fade so try moving it up some next time.. it helped me!
