Good luck with your surgery and recovery. Since you're in Florida and the weather is conducive to golf year-round, I can understand your frustration about not playing golf for a few months!

I injured my rotator cuff in the gym back in April (tore the supraspinatus tendon by being dumb). After about a month the initial inflammation went down and I was able to play a little golf. I finally had the surgery to re-attach the tendon in September and right now I'm about 80% after lots of good physical therapy. I'm able to swing my Momentus - at a slow speed - a few times. It'll be a couple more months before I'd be able to swing a club at full speed. It's OK though, because I don't play golf here after October typically due to the weather.

I'm surprised that you have to wear a sling for so long. My surgery was conventional - not orthoscopic - and I was in a sling for only a month.
