Sorry to hear about your situation. I really feel for you being out so long and I know it will be tough for you, and your wife, but just think positive thoughts about being to play in the spring with no pain, it will be worth it.
I had shoulder pain last year. I could not turn over and night without my shoulder killing me. It felt like knives were stabbing me. My wife had the same problem but not as severe. She went to the doctor and he said it was frozen shoulder. Never heard of it. Well I done what the doctor told her to do and in one month I was cured. I would first soak my shoulder in hot water, as hot as I could stand. Next I done 30 minutes of excercise, pulley on the door frame. Next I would ice my shoulder down for 30 minutes. Since that month of therpy, I have had not one problem with my shoulder. I played 2 to 3 times a week this year and my shoulder feels great. Now about that elbow.
