P.S. My histroy was a big part of the analysis as well as this is mainly an overhead injury and I played volleyball for the USAF for eight years and about 6 years ago I was really into lifting weights and used to do heavy OH press/bench etc...
I tore my rotator cuff by playing too much volleyball and lifting heavy weight. Luckily, I have been able to put together several kettlebell routines to strengthen the connecting muscles and I haven't experienced any pain since. I should probably cut out some of the heavy weight or volleyball, but it's too fun right now.
