I personally prefer "Ready Golf".

Playing Honors is fine if everyone is ready to go and I do like the ceremonial aspect of it. But reality wins out in most cases and if someone is ready to play while the "Honors" person is either indisposed or not yet ready to go, then by all means, play away.

I mean, I'm no "speed golf" fan, but I do however like to arrive home at relatively the same age as when I left to go to the course.
