I know almost nobody who is bothered by not getting honors on the tee. Most of the guys I play with play in the Men's Club and even in stroke tournaments we don't worry about honors, or who's away, or other such irrelevancies. Pace of play is the prime consideration.

That's what I see. Sometimes the group I'm in just gets in a pattern of order and we keep that through out the round. That's on the tee. Through the green and on the green the person away shoots first. "cause it makes sense.
