No one complained when it was Sonya Toms.....

Her Dad was sales rep for a firm that sold to me. He introduced himself the first time and noticed my office was filled with golf stuff. He said his Son in Law was a Pro golfer. I asked who, figuring it was someone obscure, but when he said David Toms, I said, "Your Sonya's Dad? Wow!" It just popped out. Fortunately, he started laughing.
