I don't think I could ever say anything to people I was just paired with, but I have been in that situation with some friends of mine. That can be a tough situation too. I really don't have a problem with playing a slower round unless we are holding up people behind us. That can stress me out a little and I end up hurrying up which usually leads to a bad round.

Is there some unwritten rule or logic for making the guy that shoots from a forward tee wait until last? You see, I don't have to go first...ever but if you're not gonna swing then let me!
Welcome to playing from the front tees! I actually always play whoever is on the back tees hit first and don't mind, but I can see how it could bother someone. If you won the honor they should at least acknowledge that and ask if you want to hit first.
