I agree - but how many golfers that you see on the course would you trust to do it correctly? Hell, note my handicap - I'm as likely to oopsie as hit it clean. And I've seen MUCH worse duffers on the course than me - I shudder at the thought of the gouges they'd leave in the putting surface.

Chip with the same stroke you use to putt with, you don't stub your putter do you?
