I just resigned from a Monday AM men's golf league I played in for the past 4 years. It's about 30 guys, and we played various games each week, as odd-even, red-white-blue, 2BB of 4 and so on. The bet was $5 per man and we paid 2 places.

I found that I did not like the competition aspect of it, whenever you hit a bad shot, you felt like you were letting your teamates down, and it would affect my play. I find I prefer to play with a few friends, and if we play for anything, it's a few beers. This way, you just play your game.

Anyone else in Paradise feel this way?
Surely you aren't the only one who screws up a shot every now & then? I wouldn't worry about it & conitnue to play in the league if you enjoy it.
