I like competition. For some reason, it sharpens my game. I had my best rounds this year surrounding the City Championships. Once they were over, I was back to my old hacking self...during the 5 weeks of practice and play, I was in the mid-70's to low 80's.

I have played in lots of scrambles, so hitting a bad shot there just doesn't bother me. If I hit a bad shot and it hurt the team, it means that 3 other guys hit poor shots as well. It is nearly impossible to carry an entire team for 18 holes, they have got to help.
