Default Mini Golf - Replica Golf course BAR.
okeedokeee...

Well, I've been researching the idea of establishing a miniature Golf course in my home country.... but im stumped on a few things.. (as we dont have such courses here)..

I have 2 options..

1. set up a themed mini golf course and café catering primarily for tourists, teens and kids.

2. establish a Putting golf course and bar. focusing on the corporate and golfing market.

I'll explain a little more about both individually now.

1. Themed course for kids, teens and tourists.

This type of course will be themed to mirror local heritage and features. mostly I'd be marketing for kids, tourists, and teens. Each hole has a possibility of a hole in one, however it wouldnt be that easy to score many per round. Id encorporate into it a small café, selling snacks, coffees and tea's, and a gift shop. The trade would mostly peak when kids are not in school, and when tourists are visiting. this course would probably do more trade than the latter, but is also more expensive to build.

2. Putting Golf course & Bar

This course would have a small bar and gift shop, and would be pretty much a golf course that would be similar to any real life course in the sense that would would have to putt to a certain part of the hole as you would drive on a real life course, then you would have to choose an approach shot, and then maybe you have a chance to go for the hole. the picture i have included here is a par 65 18 hole golf mini golf/putt course, the last hole is a dogleg right par 5. The course is mostly composed of par 3's and 4's.
I would be looking to entertain corporate parties, societies and golfers as the mainstay of the business, with everyone else welcome too. Id hope to work with the local Golf courses and Golfing Union. This would be an ideal option in the winter when the evenings are dark, and the weather is wet outside.

Ideally, I would like to set up both courses, but one has to come first. I'f you have the time, and you dont mind. I would like to hear from any of you on what you think, as the US has a lot of establised places like this. Id also like to hear what you think would be a great option for the golfing market in this line of entertainment, especially people from wetter regions as you too would have evenings to pass, and a golf addiction to see to when you cannot set foot on a course.

anyway, all thoughts, suggestions and information welcome.
I am very advanced in my research, but my ears are open much much more.

thanks in advance,

Conor
