I would have copied in the club president/owner/manager in your email though.

Agreed, you got to CC these things to his higher ups.

I would of done the same thing P4B although I might of bit his finger off. I dont have a problem with him trying to collect his fee but more the manor in which he did it. I would try and get as many members of your club and go to another course.
