When I break 80 I am happy, and played a decent round of golf. I also putted pretty well. When I break 90 I had a decent round of golf, had fun, and missed a few putts. If I don't break 90, well I still had a good time out doors. Now, those very, very few rounds where I don't break 100, which happens once, maybe twice a year usually means I had a great time celebrating something the night before. That, or the weather was extremely bad with high winds, and cold rain. When someone hooks up up with me for a round of golf, for the most part, I am going to to shoot something in the low 80s. Last week I hooked up with a guy from "My Space" visiting from Montana. He claimed in print to be a 4 hndcp. He shot a 75, I shot a 79 on my home course. I treated him to a course called "Badlands" where he shot a very high number, and left being the proverbial basket case. I shot an 82.
