If I could not golf anymore, for what ever reason, I would be disappointed. Suicidal? No, so I am not addicted to the games. It's definitely up there on my my list of things I like to do. I might be guilty of wasting money on this hobby, but I have other hobbies I waste money on too.

A few years ago I had a hard time going to sleep at night. It was serious enough my wife convinced me to seek professional help. When it comes to medical advice, I don't argue with her. Turned out I was not able to relax enough to fall into the rem sleep we all need to feel better after a good sleep. The sleep doctor told me since I played golf, to play a few holes in my mind to see if that would help. It did, and the problem went away. Instead of sheep, I counted golf strokes.
