My wife usually wears tennis skirts/skorts. What's the call on those? I like them, they seem shorter.

Tennis skorts seem shorter to me too. They also seem a little more "flippy" than golf skorts.

Skorts have built in compression shorts. Skirts do not. That's why the clothing companies and stores don't call them skirts.

Calling skorts "skirts" is like calling swim trunks (with built in mesh underwear) "shorts."
