I admit I don't know enough about Solheim points and its timetable, but I expect Wie and Stanford will both escalate rapidly. Whether there remains enough time before the selection to get into contention, I don't know.

Actually the Solheim Cup is in the third week of August this year. It will be almost impossible for a rookie, even ones who may have a fantastic year, to accumulate enough points to get into the top 10. Paula did it her rookie year, but she had at least three extra tournaments to gain her points. That year she had 2 wins, 4 second places, 2 thirds and 11 top 10s. That is an impressive first year and I am not sure Wie or Lewis will replicate that, especially with less tournaments..
