I can do both. I might play better when I am with someone, but not by much. I have my "sometimes" weekly play with my buddies. The rest of the time I show up as a single, and either play as a single, or join up with someone. In a few more weeks, when it cools off, those "fair weather" golfers will start showing up, and there will be more folks grabbing tee times. Won't be much single play going on till it gets too cold for them sometime in January.
