My home course is short, but incredibly tight. DDBowdoin came down and his first nine was 58 if I remember correctly. Water on every hole and very narrow.

yeah, its all about club selection at some courses rather than length. That trip was full of ups and downs, a 58 on the front, 37 on the back... fun times

Hardest on paper: Ballybunion. I shot an 84 but we were blessed with a sunny, 72 degree day with only a small breeze. Now, two days later it could have been 50, rain, and 35mph gusts. If that were the case hands down Ballybunion.

Conditions: Sankaty Head - Nantuck Island

Long, and a constant wind off the water... brutal
