Occasionally, I will play with just a half set. I will carry Driver, 4,6,8,PW, SW, and putter. It makes for an easy carry and is fun to manufacture shots to the "between" distances. I also think it helps my game by forcing me to be creative. Oddly enough, I don't really see a huge difference in my scoring with the abbreviated set oo the full set.

I play so many different courses here that I do get to hit all my clubs at least every few rounds.
