That is kind of a legitimate excuse. Our flag sticks if not put in properly could sway 2 yards right or left. Not a big issue, but a real one.

We had someone complain once that our celebrating a hole in one caused them to miss a putt. We apologized and then realized the guy was was 60 feet away and according to his playing partners logged a 12 already on that hole.
