If my ball is carving off the fairway (regular occurence these days...) I'll consider the situation first:
Can I see the predicted landing area?
If no, then shout [Mitigating circumstances: the predicted landing area is not a place where a golfer is likely to be ie: adjacent fairway vs. woods]
If I can see the landing area then, Is the predicted landing area well cleared?
If yes, no shout. If not, then shout.
(Besides, the pros yell fore and they ARE playing for the Masters' title.)
I haven't seen a pro shout fore in a long time, usually they just sulk, slam their club on the ground and let their caddies do it for them. Sometimes they half heartedly stick an arm out.
