I would love to hear everyones key thought or first move to initiate the downswing.

Pretty sure I don't think about it at all. When the backswing is done, then I start the downswing. I do think about how far I take the club back depending on how hard I want to hit the ball or what kind of shot I want to hit. The downswing just takes care of itself from that point.
