Wow, its only $1000 for the nicer courses for a membership? I assume these are public courses? Around here, you spend that on a yearly pass at average public courses and a few that have specials. The private coures are WAY more than that.

Yup, Im referring to the nicer public courses. I tend to play the courses that have the cheapest green fees, so as you can imagine theres lots of white trash riff-raff that plays those courses.
No doubt at the country clubs (not sure you could really say that Wisconsin has very many true country clubs though), its much more.
