Yeah, people keep going on about how physical media are dying, but I don't see it. Until consumer internet connections become substantially faster people will be buying DVDs/BDs for a long while to come.

The best moving image ever seen? Hardly. Also what else would one watch a Laserdisc on but a TV?

We had the option to view Laser Disks either from a TV, Computer display or projected on a Silver Screen. The image quality was way better than from a TV broadcast or VCR.
