That's sprint that charges the extra $10 for phones that are 4G capable. Since they are partnered with Clearwire, they pay them a portion of what they charge for wimax (being partners and all). Verizon doesn't have said commitments to another company the same way sprint does.
I could have sworn that they planned to raise the prices for their 4g phones in may.
I could be wrong though.
