The thing you need to consider then if you are going dual core, will the phone you choose get the update in the future that will make it dual core compatible? It's highly unlikely it will get that support.
Why is it highly unlikely it would get the support? What am I missing here? Is the support for dual core not part of the Android OS, which any android phone can download updates for? What's the point in making a phone dual core if it will never be enabled? Where are you getting this info, etc? Not saying it's not true, but it doesn't make any sense.
