Why is it highly unlikely it would get the support? What am I missing here? Is the support for dual core not part of the Android OS, which any android phone can download updates for? What's the point in making a phone dual core if it will never be enabled? Where are you getting this info, etc? Not saying it's not true, but it doesn't make any sense.
Many manufactures (like samsung) are REAL slow to roll out updates. For instance, the EPIC 4G afaik just got 2.2. So if you bought a dual core phone from say, samsung, then you would be stuck waiting for them to roll out an update to do whatever, like support dual core phones.
