1. Something that I found curious about this movie, which is a great film, is that the characters spend time outside in their winter coats at night drinking beer. (Think about the scene where Ken and Harry have a beer outside the clock tower at the end of the movie). The movie is set around Christmas time. About.com says that the average temperature in Bruges in December is around 40 f. The scene shows a good crowd dining outside and the tables covered in linen table clothes. Is this a common thing, to sit outside and drink beer/have dinner when it so cold outside? Most restaurants stateside close their patios/outdoor dining areas when it gets below 60 degrees f outside.

2. Can anyone recommend some of their favorite black comedies or other movies similar to In Bruges?
