All I meant was there is an element of luck involved in night time driving at high speeds.

Personally I'm very comfortable driving at night time and do it all the time. I don't think twice about it but I can understand why some may feel uncomfortable.

Then I'm REALLY surprised you're still alive!
Do you slow down for fog, heavy rain, snow, possible ice, etc?
