This was shown on another forum (Australian forum) I think yesterday. Was promoting "Speeding kills", with the title "This video WILL make you SLOW DOWN".

As far as I'm concerned, as much as speeding may be a factor in many accidents. It's stupidity that kills not speeding. In those video's it goes to show how people driving recklessly, usually in high pedestrian areas, have no common sense or awareness.

I by no means promote speeding and rarely do it myself, but when I'm on a large open freeway with the road to myself and far away from high density population, then I don't mind going over the speed limit if I feel safe doing so. But never in my mind have I ever thought to do the same in the city, or town where slow thinking pedestrians wander across the roads without a care in the world. In fact, if it looks to crowded, I usually will sit under the speed limit even if it pisses off the drivers behind me.

It should be a law that if you kill someone through stupidity then it should be the same as if you murdered them. Sure there was no intention to kill said person. But it was complete intention to drive recklessly dramatically increasing the chances of harming/killing someone.

Sorry about the rant, but here in Australia laws are just becoming so absolutely ridiculous it's not funny.
