There's speeding, and then there's SPEEDING.

Going 15mph over the speed limit on a smooth highway in good light and weather, while keeping 100m between your car and other cars in your lane isn't speeding... it's going fast. It's not going to hurt anyone.

Doing 45 down a busy city street, flooring it at every light (that you don't miss) is SPEEDING. Doing 60+ in pouring rain in heavy traffic is SPEEDING.

Doing 20mph > than traffic and weaving in and out is just ****ing stupid... and going into a (standstill-traffic) exit at 75mph across 4 lanes or doing 50 while doing a blind turn into a yellow-turning-red streetlight should be a capital offense.

Saw someone killed that way right in front on my window. It was night, and the car was trying to get through the light of a big intersection, and was going very fast, and didn't see the pedestrian who was dressed in black. The ambulance didn't even bother driving the victim anywhere for an hour.
